Sumatra

Earthy and syrupy, with dark chocolate and dried fruit and a long, lingering finish. Grown by the KBQB co-op in the Aceh highlands.

• Tasting notes: Dark chocolate, dried fruit, earthy; medium acidity, syrupy body
• Region: Takengon, Aceh, Sumatra (1100–1600 m)
• Process: Giling basah (wet-hulled)
• Variety: Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, Jember
• Grind: whole bean, standard, espresso or coarse (French press and cold brew)
